The 2018-2019 California Warriors Winter Ball Team took the field for the first game of the winter season against The Process-Black. While the morning game was rained out and it looked as though the rain was making a return later in the afternoon, the California Warriors got a perfect afternoon of baseball in the sun to start their season. Cooper Vasquez (2019) started off the day on the mound for the Warriors and was followed by strong outings from Casey Leavitt-McGee (2022) and Jayden Brown (2021).
At the plate, the California Warriors did a good job of getting on base and moving runners, stringing together a few runs against solid pitching from The Process. A strong defensive showing also helped the Warriors stay competitive in a game where all the players saw time out in the field and got up to bat. The next game for the California Warriors Winter Ball Team is on December 8th from 10:10 AM – 12:10 PM against the Sea Dogs.
