We are so excited to be partnering with the Giants Community Fund this Fall Baseball Season to continue working to diversity the game of baseball and providing opportunities for San Francisco Bay Area high school baseball players from all backgrounds to play competitive ball. In addition to fielding a competitive 17U team in a local San Francisco / Daly City league, First Base Foundation – California Warriors & the Giants Community Fund will be bringing sports industry / baseball professionals from our communities out to the field to speak to and mentor the players each weekend. These guest speakers will include the likes of local college baseball coaches, sports mental health experts, college baseball recruitment specialists, and more. Fall Baseball Details
- The season will begin the weekend of August 27 and finish in mid-October.
- We will play one double-header each weekend on either Saturday or Sunday for a total of 12 games, including playoffs.
- There will be a Head Coach and an Assistant Coach.
- This is a 17U league, so players cannot have turned 18 before August 1, 2022.
- Games will be held at fields around San Francisco / Daly City.
- We are partnering with the Giants Community Fund to bring guest speakers from the Giants & California Warriors communities who will address the players before and/or after games. These will be specialists in college recruitment, coaching, mental and physical health, etc. This will be free to everyone at the field that day.
