Two California Warriors alumni, Lucas Erceg and Joe Ryan, are hitting the ground running in 2020 with invitations to join their major league clubs in spring training as non-roster invitees. Erceg, a product of UC Berkeley and Menlo College, is ranked as the 14th top prospect in the Milwaukee Brewers system and went 10 for 45 in spring training last year with 3 HR, 7 RBI, and 9 Runs. This is Lucas’ third spring training and Joe’s first invitation. Joe attended Cal State Northridge and Cal Sate Stanislaus and is ranked as the 16th top prospect in the Tampa Bay Rays organization. The RHP hopes to build on successful 2018 and 2019 campaigns in the minors to make waves among baseball’s top competition. Congrats to both Lucas and Joe, we look forward to seeing your professional careers continue to unfold!
