Director of Baseball Operations Kobi Allen Joins Minnesota Twins Front Office

Congratulations to California Warriors Director of Baseball Operations Kobi Allen on joining the Minnesota Twins as a Front Office Intern in the department of Community Relations – Diversity and Inclusion!

In his new role with the Twins, Kobi will assist with developing and executing strategies that help achieve the club’s diversity and inclusion objectives; plan multicultural game day events and promotions; assist with diversity-related communications and marketing; compile information, measure department performance, and manage database in order to produce quarterly and annual reports; and support the Community Relations department with game day activations, diversity and inclusion, special events, Twins Community Fund events, and more.

During his high school summers, Kobi played for the California Warriors before going on to attend and play baseball at University of the Pacific and then Cal State Monterey Bay, where he recently graduated from with a degree in Human Communication and a concentration in Journalism & Multimedia. As his playing career wrapped up, Kobi rejoined the California Warriors organization as an Assistant Coach before becoming a Head Coach and eventually the Director of Baseball Operations. He writes, “Working for the California Warriors has taught me how to become a leader and be confident in my voice. It has also taught me the skills needed to gain an internship and perform well in a Major League setting. Lastly I have always had a passion for keeping baseball a diverse sport and providing opportunities for demographics that are often left out whether it be due to economic issues or race. The California Warriors offered a diverse atmosphere and it’s exciting to be able to assist a Major League team in creating a diverse and inclusive atmosphere as well.”

We are excited to watch Kobi’s career continue to unfold and wish him all the best as he pursues his dreams while working to make a difference!
