About California Warriors Baseball
The California Warriors Summer Travel Baseball Program has been fielding teams for 14 years. We celebrate the magic of baseball out on the field and prepare high school players to succeed and develop new skills. Our coaches take pride in helping players grasp the subtleties of the game, such as situational hitting and plate approach. Over the summer, we set the framework for student athletes to build self-confidence, leadership skills, motivation, and a passion for striving towards excellence.
This program provides the first opportunity for many of our student athletes to travel outside of their hometowns. We provide support and mentorship, and every student athlete is treated with respect and loyalty.
Our family has had the privilege of being associated with the First Base Foundation (FBF) for many years.
Our older son, Sam Baughman, played for the FBF during summers when he was in high school. He is now a pitcher at Claremont McKenna College in Southern California, using the skills and sportsmanship he developed with the FBF. Our younger son, Jack Baughman, also played for the California Warriors Jack has grown into a strong player and teammate, thanks to the fine coaching and motivation of his FBF coaches. He and we are looking forward to another summer to further enhance his skills, development and sportsmanship.
We have watched with awe as the FBF programs have expanded during this period, and are proud to be a part of this fine group. It is amazing to see the FBF’s excellent work, and its huge successes in helping develop young athletes.
